I want to thank you all for giving me the experience of a lifetime. You brought me out completely free of charge and welcomed me into The Bull Moose lodge, and I can’t express how much I appreciated the incredible handicap accessibility. Being able to move around the house comfortably made the entire trip so much easier and more enjoyable for me.
Every single person I met was kind, caring, and unbelievably helpful. The hospitality was top-tier—the food was amazing, and I was always taken care of. I truly felt like I was among family the whole time. My elk hunt was unforgettable. Even though we didn’t see as many elk as I hoped for, I still had the coolest and most memorable experience. Seeing a grizzly up close, along with mule deer and pronghorn, was something I’ll never forget.
I especially want to thank Rod Tripp and Rick Fanning. You two were the best guides I could’ve ever asked for—patient, supportive, and some of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. I couldn’t have imagined better people to share this hunt with. Overall, this trip meant more to me than I can put into words, and I truly hope I get the chance to do it again someday. Thank you, Wyoming Disabled Hunters, for everything.
