I want to thank WYOMING DISABLED HUNTERS ORGANIZATION for the honor of letting me come to Cody, Wyoming to fulfill a dream hunt of hunting a Mule deer buck. It was check mark on my bucket list that i thought i would never get to do since my disability took my ability to hunt. Its been 6 long years of not being able to hunt. So the 4 days i got to spent with this great organization was something i will never forget. My son accompanied me because i cant drive anymore. we spent three days travel to Wyoming then spent 3 days there and three days travel home. I will always cherish the father son bonding time i got to spend with my son. My son had a great time as well as i did on our adventure. When it was time to leave to come back to Texas, we found it hard to want to go home!!
This old cowboy from Texas was honored to be a part of this. I want to thank everyone that worked effortless volunteering their time to make us disabled hunters feel like we were special. I want to thank the board that spent months organizing these hunts, i want to thank all the guides that took time out of their own lives to make these hunts successful. Special thanks to my guide Todd for his help with my dream hunt and being so courteous to me and my son, thank you and your family for allowing you to help me. I would also thank all the ladies that kept us fed and took care of all the household duties. Everyone that put this together worked very hard at making everything a success!!
Of all my 50 years of hunting this hunt definitely tops the list. Me and my son made so many memories on this trip, it was AMAZING!!!
