Allen Westphal – Antelope

Allen Westphal, Antelope 2025

This is Allen Westphal and I would be honored if you would take note of what I’m about to tell you. I was approached by Terry Skinner who at that time was president of Wyoming Disabled Hunters. He informed me of what consisted in this program. At that time, I was very impressed.

I filled out all the paperwork, and I prepared myself for what was to become a lifetime experience. I asked my younger brother Rodney if he would be interested in being my guardian. Once that was settled, and all the paperwork and transportation was arranged, we were off and, on our way, to Bull Moose Lodge in Cody Wyoming.

All the people there were very welcoming and friendly. The lodging was accommodating, and the meals were fantastic. I have to say that all my worries were left behind, and I was in such a relaxed state, I felt as if I were home.

The hunt itself was great with my guide, who was Jessie Adams. He made the hunt very exciting and pleasurable. I have to say that I thought in the beginning that it was just a hunt, but I found out soon after that it was the people who made the program.

If I was to sum up this program, I would have to say that this was a life experience and to anybody who is interested should take advantage and consume the memories of a lifetime.
