I wanted to take a moment to thank the Wyoming Disabled Hunters Organization for an awesome hunting experience.
Your organization afforded me and my helper with an outstanding opportunity and a wonderful hunt.
I can't say enough good things about our experience being able to hunt for elk up in Cody. Even though I was not able to harvest an elk I am extremely happy with the entire experience. We got to meet some wonderful people, make some new friends and make some wonderful memories. Hunting isn't always about the harvest. That's always nice but to make such beautiful memories that will last forever.
Leslie and Mike along with all the other helpers went out of their way to make it the trip of a lifetime for both Dan and me. The encounter with the grizzly bear was something neither of us had encountered. It was breath taking and Leslie and Mike took great care.
I am proud to say that I had the opportunity to do this type of hunt with the Wyoming Disabled Hunters Organization. You should be commended on your professionalism, caring, communication and overall expertise working with those that have many types of disabilities.
I can't thank you enough for all that you did. It went above and beyond my wildest expectations and helped me to realize that I still can enjoy the outdoors.
